During
this 29 years
of activity, the group made many remakable
experiences abroad, but also in Italy; in 1975
the group started on the quiet with only one exihibition
outside Sappada precisely in Treviso for an important
bike race. The following year, the requests tripled,
and the group danced in Bologna for a gastronomic
fair. In 1977 the first exihibitions abroad,
in Munich for the Octoberfest; here the group presented
a new dance; in the following two years, 2 exihibitions
in Switzerland, thanks to the hospitality of the
italian families of this country.
In 1981, after 6 years of activity, the group
already made 100 exihibitions, and the most important
opportunity for the group to be known arrives right
in this year: The Holhockar performed in the television
program "Portobello" presented by Enzo
Tortora, with the largest audience of ever, nearly
23 milion spectators! The following years the first
exihibitions in Francee, in a village near Paris
and in 1986, after a long travel by bus and by boat,
the group arrived in Greece to represent Italy in
an International Festival organized in Larissa,
the capital of Tessaglia.
In 1990 the "Famiglia Bellunese nel
Mondo" called the Group in Luxemburg and in
Switzerland, in Ginevra; in 1992 the group
had the big opportunity to partecipate at the italian
week in Jersy, the wonderful isle of Great Britain.
Four Exihibitions in Germany in the following years:
in 1994 in Dortmund the group had been invited
by the Italian Ice-men and in 1997 in Landshut,
near Munich; in april 1998 the group danced
in the famous Alexander Platz of Berlin, and in
may in Neuenkirchen for the celebretions of the
25 years of activity of the eis-cafè "Eis
Fontana".
The new millenium 2000 starts with the exihibition
in Alberobello (Puglia), but the last important
transfer is that who sees the group for the first
time in Spain, and this is the first possibility
for the group to the travel by plane; the Holzhockar
rapresent Italy for the Europeade (may 2002),
an important European Folcloristic Festival, earning
abig success between the local Press of the city,
Zamora.
